Misery to those who deal in fraud, (woe be unto those who cheat)
S.V.Ahamed 83:1
2
Those who demand full measure, when they have to receive by measure from men,
S.V.Ahamed 83:2
3
But when they have to give by measure or weight to men give less than due.
S.V.Ahamed 83:3

Do they not think that they will be called to account?
S.V.Ahamed 83:4

On a Mighty Day,
S.V.Ahamed 83:5

A day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds (Rab-ul-'Ala'meen)?

But! Surely the record of the wicked is (saved) in prison register (Sijjin).
S.V.Ahamed 83:7

And what will explain to you what the prison register (Sijjin) is?
S.V.Ahamed 83:8
9
(There is) a register (fully) written.
S.V.Ahamed 83:9

Misery, on that Day, to those who deny
S.V.Ahamed 83:10
11
Those who do not accept the Day of Judgment.
S.V.Ahamed 83:11

And none can deny it except the transgressor beyond limits, the sinner!

When Our Signs are read (and repeated) to him, he says, "Tales of old!"

By no means! But on their hearts is the stain of (the evil,) whatever they do!
S.V.Ahamed 83:14

Surely, from the Light (of) their Lord, on that Day will they be blocked.
S.V.Ahamed 83:15

Further, they will enter the Fire of Hell.
S.V.Ahamed 83:16

Further, it will be said to them: This is the (reality), which you rejected as false!
S.V.Ahamed 83:17
18
But no! Surely the record of the righteous is (saved) in register (‘Illiyyûn) of the Supreme.

And What will explain to you what the register (‘Illiyyûn) of the Supreme is?

There is a register (fully) written,
S.V.Ahamed 83:20
21
To which bear witness those nearest (to Allah).
S.V.Ahamed 83:21

Truly the righteous will be in happiness:
S.V.Ahamed 83:22

On Thrones (of dignity) they will be able to see a view (of all things):
S.V.Ahamed 83:23
24
You will recognize in their faces the beaming brightness of joy.
S.V.Ahamed 83:24
25
Their thirst will be quenched with pure wine sealed:
S.V.Ahamed 83:25
26
The seal will be musk: And for this let them desire, those who have true desires:

With it will be (given) a mixture of drink from the Paradise (Tasnim, the nectar from the pure heavenly fountain)

A spring, from (which) drink those nearest to Allah.

Those in sin used to laugh at those who believed,
S.V.Ahamed 83:29
30
And whenever they passed by them, used to wink at each other (in mockery);
S.V.Ahamed 83:30
