1
But those who strive in Our cause, We will surely guide them into Our Way, for, verily, Allah is with those who do right.
3
The Romans are vanquished,
4
In a near land, and they, after being vanquished, shall be victorious,
5
Within a few years. - Allah's is the command before and after; and on that day the believers shall rejoice,
6
With the help of Allah; He helps whom He pleases; and He is the Mighty, the Merciful.
7
It is Allah's promise! Allah will not fail His promise, but most of mankind know not.
8
They know only the outward (appearance) in the life of this world, but of the Hereafter they are heedless.
9
Do they not reflect within themselves: Allah did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them but with Truth, and for an appointed term (or destined end)? But truly most of the people are disbelievers in the meeting with their Lord.
10
Have they not travelled in the earth and seen how was the end of those before them? They were stronger than these were in power and prowess, and they dug up the earth, and built on it in greater abundance than these have built. There came to them their messengers with clear arguments; Surely Allah dealt not with them unjustly, but they dealt unjustly with their own souls.
11
Then evil was the end of those who did evil, because they rejected the revelations of Allah and used to mock them.
12
Allah originates creation, then reproduces it, then to Him will you be returned.
13
In the Day when the Hour shall come the guilty shall be in despair.
14
And they shall not have any intercessors from among their gods they have joined with Allah, and they shall be deniers of their associate-gods.
15
In the Day when the Hour shall come, at that Day they shall be separated.
16
Then as to those who believed and did good works, they shall be made happy in a Garden.
17
And as to those who disbelieved and rejected Our revelations and the meeting of the Hereafter, these shall be brought to the chastisement.
18
Therefore glory be to Allah when you enter the night and when you enter morning.
19
Unto Him belongs praise in the heavens and the earth, and at the sun's decline and in the midday.
20
He brings forth the living from the dead and brings forth the dead from the living, and He revives the earth after its death, and even so shall you be brought forth.
21
And one of His signs is this, that He created you from dust, then lo! You are mortals, scattered widely.
22
And one of His signs is this that He created mates for you from yourselves that you may find rest in them, and He put between you love and compassion; herein, indeed, are signs for a people who reflect.
23
And one of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your tongues and colours; herein, indeed are signs for the learned (men who have knowledge).
24
And one of His signs is your sleeping by night and your seeking of His Bounty (livelihood, benefits and treasures) by day; herein, indeed, are signs for a people who heed (pay attention, are aware or conscious).
25
And one of His signs is this, that He shows you the lightning for fear and for hope, and sends down water from the clouds thereby quickens the earth after its death; herein, indeed, are signs for a people who understand.
26
And one of His signs is this that the heaven and the earth subsist by His command, then when He calls you with a single call, lo! From out of the earth, you emerge.
27
And His is whoever is in the heavens and the earth; all are obedient to Him.
28
And He it is Who originates the creation, then reproduces it, and it is easy for Him; and His is the Sublime Similitude (or the most exalted attributes) in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
29
He sets forth to you a similitude (parable) relating to yourselves (and your own experience): Have you among those whom your right hands possess (slaves) partners in what We have given you for sustenance, to share as equals; do you fear them as you fear each other? Thus do We make the revelation clear for a people who understand.
30
Nay! Those who are unjust follow their low desires without any knowledge; so who can guide him whom Allah causes to err? And they shall have no helpers.
